ABOUT THIS WATCH
- The Breguet Marine family was launched in 1990 and draws on the brand’s nautical heritage of producing timekeeping equipment from the French Navy
- Measuring 39mm in diameter, the stainless steel case is highly nuanced with coin-edged flanks and strongly defined lugs which are welded on and hand-finished
- A wave theme is incorporated throughout, including on the crown guards and the movement’s winding rotor
- The dial has guilloche throughout with Roman numeral hours markers and a big date aperture at 6 o’clock
- In keeping with the watch’s maritime theme, a waterproof rubber strap is attached to the case and embellished with a hobnail pattern
- This reference is powered by Breguet’s 517GG self-winding calibre, which is handsomely hand-finished and boasts a 65-hour power reserve
- In line with the sporty personality of the Marine line, the watch has a water resistance of 100 metres
