Creating detail-driven watches with distinctive style, Armin Strom’s F1 series incorporates modern materials and a motor racing aesthetic. Designed in 2011 to celebrate the adoption of Armin Strom as the official timing partner of the Marussia Virgin F1 team, the limited-edition ref. ST11-WR.90 we see here has a steel case with a black PVD coating, creating a stealthy appearance. A red sub-register for the power reserve introduces a hint of colour to the predominantly black finish, matching the Marussia Virgin F1 colors, and the skeletonised dial displays the movement’s inner workings. Large hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova to aid with legibility. Attached to the case is a black textured rubber strap with a red underlay. Powering the watch is Armin Strom’s manually-wound in-house calibre ARM09 with an impressive seven-day power reserve.

The watch is presented in good condition with some minor signs of wear, including a small mark on the bezel at 3 o’clock. Also included in the sale is a spare strap alongside the box and guarantee.
