Sell it with usA full set example of the Tudor Heritage Black Bay supplied by a private seller. The watch is accompanied by the box, warranty card, swing tag and a spare fabric strap. Presented with an extensive record of its past, the sale also includes the original bill of sale from Robert Gatward Jewellers and the seller’s receipt from Swiss Watch Company. The watch is offered in worn condition but without any significant marks or dents, bringing it within the seller’s ‘A’ grading.
The 41mm case of this reference incorporates some charming features that are rarely seen in contemporary dive watches, including the oversized and unprotected crown. The matte black dial has been given gilt details to further embody its vintage spirit. The dial printing on has gained the nickname ‘smiley face’ due to the curve shaped script at 6 o’clock, this detail has become greatly appreciated and loved by collectors.
Housed inside the 200m water-resistant case is the modified ETA-movement, calibre 2824 , with a 38-hour power reserve. The watch is secured to the wrist via an oyster-style three-link steel bracelet.
The reference 79220N we see here emulates the feel and look of the original Tudor Submariner 7922 with greater success than its colourful siblings due to its black bezel.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
