Sell it with usThe Radiomir 1940 3 days PAM 662 is a modern interpretation of reference 6154, also known as the “Egiziano Piccolo”. Commissioned by the Egyptian Navy in 1954, the face of these watches would eventually turn brown as the radium paint aged - inspiring the modern iteration we see here. True to its heritage, the watch is substantial at 47mm and is presented in the Radiomir 1940s case. Drilled lugs with screwed in pins make strap changes a breeze. A historically accurate thermoplastic crystal frames the vintage-inspired dial, which has large Arabic numerals and indices with a generous application of Super-Luminova. Viewable through the sapphire case back is Panerai’s in-house P. 3000 calibre - a manual wind time-only movement with a three-day power reserve. The watch comes on a factory brown leather strap and a polished Panerai pin buckle.
Numbered 923 of 1000, this limited-edition watch is presented in excellent condition with only light marks and minor signs of wear. Also included in the sale are the box and papers.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
