SUMMARY
Distinctive in its appearance, the Luminor is instantly recognisable thanks to the Panerai-patented protective locking bridge over its crown, and the reference’s traditional 1950-style pillow-shaped case. Finished in brushed 18K rose gold with a polished bezel, collectors with smaller wrists will appreciate its 42mm dimensions, which offer a more ergonomic fit than the 44 and 47mm cases commonly offered by the brand.
The tobacco dial is perfectly suited to the gold’s warm tones and is finished with Panerai’s trademark oversized Arabic numerals. A date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock and a seconds sub-dial sits directly opposite.
Housed inside this robust case is Panerai’s P9000 calibre. This automatic workhorse is immediately identifiable by its two barrels, which provide it with a power reserve of 72 hours - hence the ‘3 Days’ moniker. Water resistance is rated at 50m.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
