Offered by a UK-based dealer, this 2015 Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Co-Axial is accompanied by its original display box and outer sleeve, its operations manual, plus further information, including its chronometer certification, official Omega warranty, and official Omega pictogram card, which denotes the watch’s serial number, reference number, and calibre. There are a few age-related marks and swirls on the case and bracelet. However, the watch fits within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

A nod to Omega’s seafaring heritage, this classically-styled Seamaster is finished entirely in stainless steel. The silver dial is decorated in Omega’s ‘Teak Concept’ pattern and harks back to the wooden decks found on luxury sailing boats. Further aesthetic interest is created through the reference’s triangular hour markers and the month and date windows located at the three o’clock marker. Both the stainless steel case and bracelet are finished with a tasteful mix of brushed and polished surfaces.

Like the sapphire crystal covering the dial, the transparent rear caseback is finished in the same scratch-resistant material. Visible beneath is Omega’s co-axial 8601 calibre, which is self-winding with a power reserve of 55 hours. This automatic movement has a rhodium-plated finish, with tasteful Geneva waves in Arabesque.

The Aqua Terra is a version of the Omega’s iconic Seamaster, which - with its water resistance of 150 metres - can be used for sporting activities and dress purposes. The Seamaster was originally launched in 1948 and is much-loved for its hardy, capable nature.
