Sell it with usThe Breitling Navitimer is a true icon of watchmaking and has been produced continuously since the early 1950s. With an aesthetic that’s changed very little over the years, its timeless design is both handsome and functional. The watch has its roots in aviation and was initially designed as an aid for pilots. To this day, it’s still equipped with a bi-directional rotating slide rule that allows the wearer to perform calculations relevant to flying.
This modern iteration dating to 2014 has been updated with a slightly larger 43mm case but still maintains the classical look of vintage models. It also benefits from a modern movement in the form of Breitling’s in-house B-01 calibre, which features Chronometer certification and a 70-hour power reserve. Complementing the black and white accents on the dial is a factory leather strap with contrast stitching.
The watch is presented in very good condition with some light wear visible on the case and strap. Included in the sale are the box, travel pouch, guarantee, slide rule instructions, and swing tag. The owner had the watch serviced in 2019 by Breitling at a cost of £718 and a receipt for this is included. The factory leather strap was also purchased in 2019.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
