Sell it with usHublot’s 2005 launch of the Big Bang really was the start of something big. Oversized cases and extravagant designs, the Big Bang explored a new concept of hybrid materials and took it in all sorts of creative directions. It’s still going strong. Whilst the Big Bang has taken on the role of being Hublot’s flagship watch, its exotic design experiments have now been transferred into new, smaller dimensions.
One result is this Big Bang One Click 33mm, a watch of great character whose look is distinguished by screws, stylised numerals and a bezel set with diamonds. The versatile Big Bang One Click 33mm adopts the patented “One Click” strap fastening system, allowing the watch to take on an alternative appearance in just a click.
The case, in rose gold, houses the HUB1120 self-winding movement with the date at 3 o’clock. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and holds 40 hours of power reserve.
The black dial with its skeletonised gold hands and sample markers really allows the bezel’s stones to shine. The Big Bang’s industrial and contemporary design becomes chic and elegant at this size, and ideal for the feminine wrist.
This watch shows signs of use commensurate with its age. There and some scratches and scuffs to the case. It comes on a black rubber strap with a gold deployment clasp, and with its presentation box.
