Sell it with usReleased in 2013 as a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, the Big Bang Ferrari ‘Red Magic Carbon’ draws on synergies between contemporary watchmaking and motorsport to create a watch that’s technically impressive and honours the famed automaker. The watch’s modular case is made from a combination of titanium and carbon fibre, and despite its size and bold styling, it wears comfortably thanks to its lightness.
Attached to the case via an innovative quick-change system is a rubber strap, with a leather inlay and red contrast stitching. The watch is powered by Hublot’s in-house HUB1242 Unico calibre. It’s effectively an inside-out movement meaning that many components, such as the gear train and column wheel, can be viewed through the front of the watch. The dial incorporates a sapphire crystal base on which the Arabic numerals, indices, and prancing horse emblem sit.
Numbered 2 of 1,000, this example is presented in very good condition with only light signs of wear on the case, strap, and clasp. Also included in the sale are the box with presentation display, a spare strap, travel pouch, certificate of authenticity and booklet.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
