Sell it with usA pleasingly unusual timepiece from Germany, this 2014 Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar is being auctioned as a full set. The watch is accompanied by its original presentation box and official paperwork including the Glashütte factory guarantee and service booklet. The set also comes with a leather travel pouch. The case shows some light marks and swirls on the case, and there is some slight wear on the inner side of the strap. Nonetheless, the overall condition of the watch positions it within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.
Crafted in stainless steel, this elegant timepiece is characterised by the intriguing dial housed within its 40mm case. Finished in opaline silver, the dial boasts a series of complications including a panoramic date window, a small seconds sub-dial, and moonphase aperture in its top right. The markers displayed on the dial are a blend of batons and Arabic numerals, which create visual interest and a sense of contrast. Fitted to the watch is a black Louisiana alligator strap, complementing the watch’s dressy profile.
Behind the PanoMaticLunar’s rear display crystal is its eye-catching 90-02 calibre. This automatic movement has a power reserve of up to 48 hours and is distinguishable through a number of aesthetic features, including a skeletonised rotor with a 21K gold oscillation weight and a hand-engraved balance bridge.
Born in 1845 in Glashütte, Germany, the brand is German high horology at its finest. Since its foundation, Glashütte Original timepieces have been recognised for their fine craftsmanship, accuracy, and stylish aesthetics.
