SUMMARY
The 5711/1A was launched in 2006 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus and has since become the most desirable luxury steel sports watch on the planet. This meteoric rise has been further exacerbated by Patek Philippe's decision to discontinue the model. Based on the original Gerald Genta designed ref. 3700 from 1976, the Nautilus ref. 5711 features a 40mm case with a distinctive rounded octagonal bezel. The integrated bracelet, also in steel, is satin-finished, with polished intermediary links and a fine bevel that extends from the case and down the edge of each link. It’s secured to the wrist via a double deployant clasp. The dial is finished in blue, with distinctive horizontal ridges emblematic of the model. The hours are marked by batons filled with Super-LumiNova, and a date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase
