SUMMARY

Romain Jerome was established in 2004 and has garnered attention for its bold designs, utilitarian features, and unique materials. The limited edition model presented here was created to evoke the industrial revolution and ‘steampunk’ design, hence the name, and was produced as a limited edition of 2,012 pieces. The 50mm case features an oxidized metal bezel ‘held’ by four steel plates which draw your attention to the four screws on the inside of the case, meant to evoke steam engine pistons. A propeller subsidiary seconds dial is featured at the 9 o’clock position which matches the anchor-shaped hands. The movement within is the calibre RJ001-AS which is equipped with a 42-hour power reserve.
