Sell it with usThis limited-edition Seamaster Planet Ocean was launched in conjunction with the James Bond film ‘Skyfall’ in 2012. The watch takes on the familiar profile of the Planet Ocean line but pays tribute to the movie by incorporating subtle but purposeful details. The 42mm case offers plenty of utility with its impressive 600m of water resistance.
The patterned dial is handsomely finished and has applied markers and numerals, with the addition of a ‘007’ logo appropriately positioned at 7 o’clock. Turning the watch over, a sapphire case back displays the in-house calibre 8507. This movement is based on the calibre 8500 but incorporates some unique elements, including a ‘Skyfall 007 ’engraved rotor. A reference to the famous spy can also be found on the clasp of the attached stainless-steel bracelet.
Numbered 811 of 5007, the watch is presented in mint condition with no signs of wear and is within the bounds of the seller’s AA grading. The sale includes the watch’s box and guarantee card, purchase receipt, pictogram card, limited series card, chronometer certificate card and swing tag.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
