Building on its significant racing heritage, the watch is a modern, 21st century piece of engineering, harking back to Heuer’s glory days of the 1970s without resting on their laurels.
With a 40.5mm x 49mm case with its confidently boxy shape we’ve all come to know and love with the Monaco, this version is presented in a black PVD stainless steel, creating a stealthy finish akin to a piece of sleek motorsport engineering.
Powered by Zenith's El Primero 'Calibre 36' with a frequency of 36000 bph and a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, the watch is an endurance machine at heart, as you’d expect from a watch inspired and worn by gladiators of the Le Mans 24 hours over the years, and Steve McQueen.
With a black dial, subtle Chronograph subdials, and the distinctive ‘Gulf’ livery emblazoned across its face, the ref. CAL5110.FC6265 is handsome and menacing in equal measure. Much like the best race cars in the world.
Water resistant to 100m and secured with a black leather strap with orange stitching this watch is available in worn condition, with a small dent on its case and minor scratching. Available with original box the watch is a must-own for racing connoisseurs looking for something a little different to the original Monaco.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
