Sell it with usFor auction through a private seller, this unique Harry Winston Triple Retrograde Chronograph comes accompanied by its display box, guarantee document, and instruction manual. The watch shows some very light superficial scratches on the case and lugs and its condition appears to be within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.
A true feat of watch design and engineering, this 44mm reference is finished in 18k yellow gold and is widely appreciated for its unusual and complex tri-retrograde chronograph. Located at six o’clock is the seconds counter, with minutes at three o’clock and hours on the opposite side of the dial. Also of note is the dial’s weaved fibreglass construction; an aesthetic which creates a 3D effect under certain lighting and juxtaposes tastefully with the dial’s sunburst silver element. The time is displayed discreetly in a sub-register at 12 o’clock, making way for the watch’s standout chronograph.
Anchored to the watch is a chunky bi-leather strap fashioned from calf’s leather on the inside, and stylish monotone-stitched alligator leather on the exterior.
Powering this rare piece of Haute Horologerie is a modified version of Frédéric Piguet’s long-standing and highly regarded calibre 1185. This automatic chronograph movement is handsomely finished with perlage and Côtes de Genève and is viewable through the exhibition case back.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
