Sell it with usFrom the original owner, a private collector in the UK comes this Blancpain Tribute To Fifty Fathoms ‘No Radiations’ from 2011. The lot is offered as a watch and strap only (no box or papers). This model was created in a limited edition of 500 pieces. The vendor advises the watch is in perfect condition and a factory sticker is on the case back. It appears to be within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘AA’ grading.
The steel case measures 45mm across, 15.5mm in depth and 23mm between the lugs. It’s an impressive and sturdy watch. The black dial features printed indices, a date window at 3 o’clock and the distinctive ‘No Radiations’ symbol above 6 o’clock. Also of note is an oversized and deeply knurled crown.
The 120-click bezel features a fully cambered sapphire cap so the whole bezel as well as the hands are fully lumed. A solid steel caseback features the limited edition number (40 of 500) and is engraved ‘Tribute to Fifty Fathoms’ Antimagnetic.
The watch is powered by a high quality and hand finished 35 jewel calibre 1315 movement with 3 barrels giving an impressive five-day power reserve. The movement is protected against the effects of magnetism and also provides for hacking seconds, and a quick set date.
The watch is presented on a robust black sailcloth textile strap which is bolstered to add thickness. It features monotone stitching and comes with a factory pin buckle. The strap is affixed to the case by hex screws and solid bars, rather than spring bars, for added strength.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
