SUMMARY
Bulgari has gained a reputation for combining bold designs and innovative technology, while also paying respect to historical legacies. The Daniel Roth Grand Lune was created to display the phase of the moon in the most elaborate horological form. Compared to regular moonphase indicators that generally comprise two moving parts, an astronomical moon-phase display is a technological escalation leading to an extremely accurate lunar cycle of 29 days, 12 hours, and 45 minutes - reducing the precision error to just 57.2 seconds per cycle. This feature is presented on an asymmetric dial within an elliptical case crafted in 18K rose gold synonymous with Daniel Roth. The moonphase is luxuriously finished in 18K rose gold, as well as the hands, hour markers, and the outer rim of the subdials. Beneath the sapphire caseback beats the hand-decorated DR Calibre 2300, a hand-wound Frédéric Piguet movement equipped with a Daniel Roth complication.
