Bought from an international auction house, this watch is offered with a Richard Mille travel box and one additional rubber straps including a Richard Mille titanium deployant clasp. There are no discernible marks or scratches to the case or clasp, positioning this watch within the seller’s AA condition grading.

The RM016 retains all the design cues you would expect from the brand with the high-tech material case, splined case screws and skeleton dial. In this case the movement architecture changes from 3d to 2d as the profile aims to be as flat as possible. Both the case and the movement plates are crafted from grade 5 titanium, with the movement visible both through the sapphire case back and the skeleton dial.

To allow an uninterrupted view, the date disks are sapphire crystal. The movement is wound via a variable geometry rotor to provide 55hrs of power reserve. The winding of the rotor can be adapted to the wearer’s activity level by adjusting the 6-position ribs. The overall height of the watch is, for Richard Mille, a very svelte 8.25mm. The watch is fitted to a Kevlar fabric strap with Velcro closure.
