SUMMARY

Based on IWC’s highly regarded Pilot's Watch line, the Spitfire collection offers the same functional aesthetic but with a different dial layout. This 2010 reference features concentric patterns and a two-tone finish with large applied Arabic numerals. More nuanced than IWC’s traditional references, the watch is also equipped with a second timezone or ‘UTC’ complication, displayed in an aperture at 6 o’clock. Inside the case beats calibre 30710, which is based on the tried and tested ETA 2892 and is equipped with a 42-hour power reserve.
