Sell it with usCreated to commemorate the Charles Darwin Foundation’s work in the Galapagos Islands, this IWC Aquatimer Chronograph features a 44mm vulcanised rubber wrapped case and a luminescent sapphire capped bezel.
The black dial with white accents offers supreme legibility and incorporates a 12-hour chronograph as an additional timing option. Attached to the case via a quick-release system is a black rubber strap. Inside the watch is IWC’s calibre 79320 - a modified Valjoux 7750 with a 44-hour power reserve.
The watch is presented in excellent condition and was serviced by IWC in January 2019, which included replacing all the rubber components. The watch has not been worn since its return from service. Also included in the sale are the box and papers.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
