This Chopard Imperiale incorporates a number of interesting design cues. The multi-tiered dial is decorated with a combination of Roman numeral and trapezoidal hour markers that provide contrast thanks to their blackened finish. The dial’s centre has a delicately engraved quilted pattern complemented by a sunburst silver outer section. This is topped off with the tastefully set diamond bezel.

Despite the case’s elegantly thin profile, it is powered by an automatic movement, enhancing its mechanical tactility without compromising its wearability. Secured to the wrist via distinctive articulated lugs is a Chopard dark blue leather strap that suits the watch perfectly.

This 2010 example is presented with its leather box, certificate of origin and international guarantee. Its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s AA grading.
