• Chopard released its Happy Sport in 1993, and with it, introduced the combination of stainless steel and diamonds into the world of luxury watches
• At 42mm across, this 2010 example has some significant wrist presence which is enhanced by its white guilloche dial featuring five free-moving “dancing” diamonds
• To prevent damaging the hands or dial, the diamonds are positioned between two sapphire crystals
• The Happy Sport’s signature diamond finish is continued on the fixed bezel, which is finished with Roman numeral hour markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9
• A white leather strap contributes to the watch’s bold, playful character
• The caseback is stamped with ‘Happy Sport’ wording and beneath it beats a Swiss made quartz movement
