Sell it with usThis limited edition (122/300) Panerai Ferrari GT Monopulstante 8 Days GMT Chrono is sold as a full set. The watch is accompanied by its box, warranty papers, booklets, leather strap, strap changing tool and service invoice. The vendor advises the watch is in good working order and was recently given a full service by Panerai at a cost of AU$1,000, with some parts replaced including the handset. Presented in worn condition with some light marks and scratches, it falls within the seller’s ‘A’ grading.
A watch evocative of Italian heritage, this limited edition for Ferrari incorporates motorsport elements with classic Panerai style. The cushion-shaped case is finished in brushed stainless steel, and at 45mm in diameter, has a substantial presence on the wrist. The sub-registers are inspired by the gauge cluster of a classic Ferrari, and the incorporation of red hands adds a touch of sportiness.
This feature-rich Panerai incorporates a GMT function and a mono-pusher 30-minute chronograph. Housed inside the case, and viewable through the exhibition case back, is the calibre P.2004/6. This manually-wound movement is equipped with an impressive 8-day power reserve.
Officine Panerai was founded in 1860 in Florence, Italy. The brand went on to become famous for its rugged diver watches and classic models such as the ‘Radiomir’ and ‘Luminor’. In 2002 Officine Panerai opened its manufacturing centre in Switzerland. During the later part of the 2000s Panerai created its Ferrari Collection with the famous sports car maker.
