SUMMARY

Launched in the mid-1990s, the Omega Seamaster 300M gained iconic status after it was adopted as James Bond’s watch of choice in Goldeneye. This ref. 2221.80.00 is the successor to that first quartz Bond Omega with the addition of the Seamaster script in red. A full-size version of Omega’s iconic diver, the watch measures 41mm in diameter and is the last Seamaster to be fitted with a blue aluminium insert bezel; its successor being fitted with a ceramic version. Water resistant to 300 metres, this reference of Seamaster combines the usual utilitarian nature of a diving tool with an unusual elegance seldom found on other watches of this type thanks to the subtly laser-etched blue dial and skeleton hands. Furthermore, the watch is powered by Omega’s 1538 calibre, a highly accurate quartz movement with a 42-month battery life.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
