Breitling’s association with Bentley dates back to 2002. The automobile manufacturer invited Breitling to design a dashboard clock for the Continental GT. To mark the occasion, a series of watches were created that took inspiration from both brands’ design aesthetic.

The Breitling for Bentley range maintains Breitling’s aviation-inspired look, but this Mark VI dials up the opulence with a rose gold case and knurled bezel. At 42mm, it’s substantial but still offers a versatile size for most wrist types. It’s also the smallest in the range, with other models extending up to 49mm.

The dial is finished in chocolate brown, which complements the rose gold. The hour markers and Breitling logo are applied, and the subdials are laid out neatly at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. This is thanks to the chronograph’s unusual setup, whereby the minutes and seconds are both centralised, providing the functionality of a full 12-hour timer on a straightforward twin register layout.

This limited-edition watch is presented in excellent condition with some superficial wear consistent with its age. A brown leather strap is supplied with a rose gold deployant buckle. The original box, warranty and chronometer certificate are also included in the sale.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading.
