Sell it with usFrom the original owner and a UK-based collector comes this 2008 example of the iconic TAG Heuer Monaco reference CW2119.EB0017. The lot comprises of the watch, strap and presentation box along with all documentation including the original guarantee card and instruction booklets. The watch shows signs of wear consistent with its age and appears to fall within the bounds of the ‘A’ rating for condition provided by the seller. It is in full working order though the seller states that the watch has not been serviced.
This particular example of the Monaco features a striking and bright mother of pearl dial with polished indices, and hands filled with luminous material. The 38mm x 46mm x 13mm steel case shows polished and satin contrast finishes. Waterproof to 30 meters, the watch has a screw-down steel caseback decorated with a Monaco inscription and the maker’s logo. Inside beats the self-winding Tag Heuer calibre 17, based on the ETA calibre 2894/2, running hours, minutes and small seconds as well as a chronograph and date function.
The watch is presented on a black crocodile leather strap with a stainless steel folding clasp showing the TAG Heuer logo.
