Sell it with usSomewhat of a cult favourite amongst IWC collectors, the Da Vinci line has been an important launching pad for some of the brand’s key innovations. Starting life in 1969 with a hexagonal case and quartz movement, IWC introduced a new generation with a tonneau-shaped case in 2007. This iteration features IWC’s first-ever in-house chronograph, the calibre 89360, which benefits from a column wheel and vertical clutch system - giving the pushers crisp and positive actuation.
The 43mm steel case is substantial and contains a blend of polished and brushed surfaces. Thanks to the twin register chronograph, the dial remains clean and symmetrical, indicating both the minutes and hours in a singular sub-dial. Attached to the case is a bracelet with a convenient push-button link removal system, giving the wearer the convenience of tool-free adjustability.
This 2008 example is offered in good condition, with some small marks and scratches visible on the case and bracelet. Included in the sale are the box, guarantee and booklet.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
