SUMMARY
Founded in 1846 and revitalised in 1983, Ulysse Nardin has earned a reputation for complex timepieces including astronomical watches and minute repeaters. This watch is one of a series that takes the already complex minute repeater function and animates it via a collection of automata on the dial. The jacquemarts, (a male animated figure that rings a bell) work together when the gongs sound, the larger, left hand one striking a bell for the hours and the two smaller figures alternating strikes for the quarters with the extreme right figure indicating the minutes.
The rose gold figures contrast with the deep black of the dial. The movement is housed in a very wearable 42mm rose gold case with the minute repeater slide set into the case band on the left.
Produced as No.15 in a limited series of only 50 examples, this Ulysse Nardin Triple Jack Minute repeater is offered as watch-only, in good condition with only minor marks and scratches.
Please note if shipped internationally, due to CITIES requirements the strap will not be included with the watch
