F.P. Journe Octa Lune

F.P. Journe is a brand that has seen an extraordinary rise in popularity over the last year. While the earliest ‘brass movement’ and subscription watches have seen the biggest rise, other earlier examples of his work are generating considerable interest.

The Octa Lune is no longer available in this distinctive ‘Journe’ dial configuration, and this earlier 38mm case size is sought after by connoisseurs for its perfect proportions. The dial has an uncluttered layout with a clear contrast between the textured gold plate and the silvered time display.

Visible through the back is the exquisitely finished FPJ calibre 1300.3 made entirely of rose gold. The rotor is 22k gold and movement supplies a power reserve of 120 hours as indicated on the dial.

This watch is offered in good used condition. The crystal, dial and hands are pristine. The bezel case hand lugs have light scratches from general wear. The crown is in good condition. There is some discolouration to the case back screws and under the case lugs. The strap is not F.P. Journe but the original 18k rose gold signed F.P. Journe pin buckle will be included in the sale. The box and papers are complete and in good condition.
