ABOUT THIS WATCH
- In 2001, Cartier introduced the Roadster with the idea of blending its speciality of non-round case designs with a robust sports watch
- Inspired by classic automobile design, the Roadster picks up the sweeping body lines of what Cartier calls the "golden age of the sports car" in the 1950s
- This Roadster Chronograph features a 40mm tonneau-shaped case, distinctive two-tone dial, and three-sub-dial layout
- The silver dial reflects automotive design influences and resembles the dashboard of a classic car in its display of hours, minutes, running seconds and the chronograph
- Beneath the screw-down rear casing beats the ETA-based calibre 8510; an automatic chronograph movement with a 48-hour power reserve
