The Breitling Superocean ‘Steelfish’ X-Plus is a hardcore diver’s watch with an impressive water resistance of 2000m. This particular example is from 2006 is considered a transitional model as indicated by the ‘syringe’ seconds hand, which enhances the desirability of the watch.

The white ‘Fish’ dial features concentric circles with a combination of applied luminous indices and Arabic numerals. Aesthetically, this is a unique watch that combines design cues from diving and field timepieces. The large 44mm stainless-steel case has a utilitarian feel with its brushed finish and rotating timing bezel. The watch is supplied on a factory leather strap with contrast stitching, which is secured to the wrist via a signed Breitling deployant clasp.

This example is presented in worn condition with some marks and swirls on the bezel, case. The leather strap shows some visible signs of wear on the inside. No box or papers are supplied in the sale.
