SUMMARY

This Patek Philippe Gondolo has an impressively thin profile and is very much the definitive Art Deco-inspired dress watch. Finished in polished white gold, this fine timepiece’s rectangular-shaped case measures 43 x 30 mm. Bringing together the traditional styling of this dressy Patek is a white dial with applied Breguet numerals. A small sub-dial at 6 o'clock denotes the running seconds. The watch is paired with a factory black leather strap and a white gold pin buckle. Housed inside the case is the calibre 215 PS. This manually wound calibre beats at 28,800 vph and is equipped with a 44-hour power reserve

The Gondolo line is named for the ‘Chronometro Gondolo’ watches created by Patek for the Brazilian jewellers Gondolo & Labouriau in Rio de Janeiro in 1902. Since then, Patek Philippe has adopted this name to define a range of watches with unusual (non-round) shapes and designs.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Watch Collecting requests a range of detail about the lot from the seller, and performs a level of due diligence. However, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before committing to a bid. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details.
