Franck MullerKing Conquistador

Offered by a private collector, this King Conquistador was bought new from a Frank Muller Boutique and has been since serviced. The watch is accompanied by the box, certificate of authenticity, warranty card and a black rubber strap. Presented with some light marking commensurate with its age, it appears to be within the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

Presented in a tonneau-shaped 40mm case, it looks like something that may have originated from the 30s, despite its relatively modern construction. The white gold construction is elegantly paired with Franck Muller’s iconic large stylised Arabic numerals and a date aperture at 6 o’clock on a white dial. A red-tipped seconds hand completes the quirky and avant-garde feel to the dial. The watch is powered by the self-winding calibre FM 7002 with 28 jewels and a platinum rotor.

Bold and instantly recognisable, Franck Muller took the Curvex shapes of the 1930s and used them to define the early 2000s.
