Sell it with usThis single-owner Breitling for Bentley from 2005 is offered for sale as a full set. The watch is accompanied by its outer and display box, leather travel pouch, booklets, cleaning cloth and service documentation from Breitling themselves, dating to 2019. The lot shows some signs of wear around its steel case and bracelet, bringing it within the bounds of its ‘A’ grading.
Drawing inspiration from both the brands’ heritage and design philosophy, this Breitling for Bentley elevates its steel case with an eye-catching bezel. Its texture is inspired by Bentley's signature honeycomb radiator grille motif, providing the watch with a luxurious feel - just like a Bentley car. With a case diameter of 48mm, the watch is as substantial on the wrist as a Bentley on the road.
The chocolate brown dial brings a warm tone that contrasts that of the bezel. The chronograph sub-dials are positioned symmetrically at 3-6-9 o’clock positions for recording sector and lap times. Also included is the slide rule scale – on the perimeter of the dial - expressly set up for motor racing.
When in 2002 Bentley invited Breitling to design the dashboard for their new Continental GT, it marked the start of one of the most well-known collaborations between the automotive and watchmaking industries. This example is named ‘Bentley 6.75’ as an homage to the historic 6.75L Rolls-Royce derived engine in the Bentley car.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
