Cartier’s first wristwatch and the world’s first pilot’s watch, the Santos holds a special place in watch history. This 2004 Santos was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the iconic model. Presented in yellow gold, the 38mm square case wears comfortably on the wrist thanks to its cambered lugs, which wrap around the wrist. The dial will be familiar to Cartier fans with its silvered face, stylised Roman numerals, and piano key inner track for minutes and seconds. The incorporation of bezel screws and crown guards gives it a decidedly sporty look. Turning the Santos over reveals a solid case back with an anniversary engraving. Accompanying the watch is a factory brown leather strap and yellow gold twin-trigger deployant clasp.

The watch is presented in good condition with some visible marks and scratches on the case and clasp. The strap shows clear signs of wear. Also included in the sale are the box, booklets, and purchase receipt.
