SUMMARY
The 3706 model family from IWC stretched from 1994 to 2005 and were the brand’s original Pilot Chronographs. Built with legibility in mind, the watches feature a matte black dial with contrasting white Arabic numerals and indices. The 39mm stainless steel case is satin-finished to provide a glare-free utilitarian aesthetic. Powering the watch is IWC’s calibre 7922 - a modified version of the popular Valjoux 7750. It has a double quick-set system for the day and date, a 44-hour power reserve and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Attached to the case are a black leather strap and IWC pin buckle.
