From a private collector, this Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 5107P-001 is sold along with its booklets and certificate of origin. Commensurate with its age, some light marking is visible, bringing it within the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

Classically sized, the 37mm case is constructed from platinum, enhancing the watch’s sense of luxury without going over the top. Between the lugs, the classic, flawless diamond is located, which is the modern hallmark for Patek Philippe platinum models. Simple in appearance, the model features a number of subtle and interesting details, none more so than the exhibition caseback where the expertly finished calibre 315 SC is visible. This automatic winding movement features a 21K winding rotor and a 48-hour power reserve.

The Calatrava line perfectly embodies the simple and elegant dress watch. Since its introduction in 1932, it has been the point of reference for 3-hand watches and is arguably one of the most recognizable watches from Patek Philippe.
