A curious footnote in Cartier’s illustrious history, the Tank Divan was introduced in 1995 and decommissioned just 12 years later in 2007. Nicknamed ‘Divan’ - or ‘sofa’ in French - for its elongated 31mm case, the watch is a variation on the highly-popular Tank watches manufactured by the luxury watchmaker since the start of the 20th century. Despite its unusual form, Cartier enthusiasts will enjoy the watch’s traditional Cartier design traits such as its sophisticated 18K yellow gold finish and black Roman numerals.
