Sell it with usOffered by a private seller, this Blancpain Léman Chronograph ref 2185-1418 was purchased second-hand from a reputable watch dealer in Germany. It is accompanied by its original wooden box (with sleeve), original cushion, user guide, and Blancpain guarantee. Note that the guarantee is undated, therefore the watch is estimated to have been manufactured around 2000. There are minor age-related signs of wear on the watch’s case and strap. Its condition is within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.
The Léman 2185-1418 is presented in an elegant 38mm 18k yellow gold case with a classically-styled stepped bezel. Despite its elegant profile, the screw-down pushers offer a level of sportiness and utility. Its white baton dial is characterised by three sub-registers displaying the complications. The watch’s hour markers and hands are finished in yellow gold. Its deep blue crocodile strap creates a striking contrast to the lighter colours found on this timepiece’s dial and case. The watch is powered by Blancpain’s ultra-slim, automatic 1185 calibre with a power reserve of 42 hours.
The Léman was introduced in the mid-1990s to fulfil the purpose of being a sports watch with traditional Blancpain elegance.
