Purchased new by the vendor from Watches of Switzerland, this Breitling Crosswind is accompanied by its box and original paperwork. The watch has visible signs of wear on the case and bracelet commensurate with regular wear, and the seller has graded it an ‘A’ condition.

The visual design of the Crosswind is an interesting blend of ultra-modern and traditional. The "onion" style of the crown and pushers hark back to the crowns of pilot's watches of the 1930s and 1940s. The reference we see here features a large circular case with a screw-down waterproof back, crown and pushers. The blue dial has applied luminous Roman numerals, outer tachymeter graduation and 1/5th seconds scale, subsidiary dials for the seconds, 12-hour and 30-minute registers and aperture for the date at three o'clock topped with luminous yellow gold hands.

The Crosswind model line combines design elements from both pilot and dive watches - offering the wearer plenty of functionality and ruggedness.
