Sell it with usThis Leman Flyback Chronograph is part of a broader collection that was first released in 1994 as the “2100” series before being renamed in the early 2000s. This model line has since been discontinued from the Blancpain catalogue. The watch is characterised by its double-stepped bezel, which sits prominently on the 38mm polished steel case. The matte black dial is nuanced with sunken sub-registers and contrasting Arabic numerals. Despite its dressy appearance, the screw-down crown and pushers afford 100m of water resistance - enhancing its versatility. Underneath the caseback is the calibre 1185, which was designed specifically for Blancpain by Frederic Piguet in the 1980s, with both companies now falling under the Swatch Group umbrella. This automatic winding movement features a flyback chronograph and a 40-hour power reserve.
This example from 1997 is presented in fair condition with marks and swirls visible on the case commensurate with age and regular wear. The attached leather strap shows clear signs of wear. Also included in the sale are the box and guarantee.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
