Offered by a private vendor, this Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso ref. 260.2.86 was originally retailed at Selfridges in 1996 and is presented with its original box, a slightly damaged outer sleeve, and an official guarantee document. Despite its age, the watch looks to have very few marks and swirls on its case. It is, however, worth noting that there is a significant tear on the outer side of the right-hand strap. Nonetheless, the watch is reported to be in good working order and appears consistent with the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.

Measuring a dainty 33mm in diameter, this Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is very much the epitome of the classic ladies’ dress watch. Finished in 18K rose gold, this Art Deco-inspired watch features a distinctive reversible case, originally designed for Polo players to protect the crystal from damage. This reference is specified with a white dial and enhanced by a circular inner track, whilst a blend of Arabic numerals and stylised indices serve as hour markers. Attached to the watch is a black alligator strap, which fits in with the overarching Art Deco theme of the timepiece.

The watch is driven by the brand’s in-house 864 calibre. This manually-wound movement comprises 18 jewels and has a power reserve of up to 38 hours.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
