This Breitling Navitimer Airbourne features the iconic slide rule of the original Navitimer, along with a radial date indicator and chronograph complication, packaged in a much more versatile 38mm case.

The blue of the dial changes colours depending on how the light hits it - creating different hues and adding visual interest. The attention to detail of the watch can be summarized through the way the date is displayed. Instead of a small aperture, it uses a sub-register at 12 o’clock to create symmetry with the three chronograph sub-registers. Powering the watch is the Breitling calibre 33, a chronograph movement with 42 hours of power reserve. Fitted to the case is a black leather strap with white contrasting stitching.

This 1995 example shows light signs of wear and its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s A grading. Included in the sale are the original box and papers, making this a full set.
