SUMMARY

The second generation of the iconic Breitling Navitimer, this 1960s version of the eponymous pilot's watch was the first Navitimer to feature contrasting white sub-dials and a serrated version of the technically advanced bi-directional slide bezel. The 'Twin Jet' moniker comes from the interlocking aircraft logo at 12 o'clock. Presented with an aftermarket brown leather strap and a gold-plated case, the watch's crystal has developed a characterful patina and contributes significantly to its period aesthetic. Internally, the watch is powered by the Venus 178 movement which is well renowned for its reliability and robustness.
