ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Synonymous with the world of motorsport, this instantly recognisable watch debuted in 1969 in honour of the Monaco Grand Prix, and was the world’s first automatic square-case chronograph wristwatch
- The Monaco then shot to prominence when it was worn by Steve McQueen in his 1971 film, Le Mans
- Since then it's become a hero watch for Tag Heuer
- Crafted from black DLC titanium, this contemporary ‘Dark Lord’ model harks back to the elusive all-black Monaco of the 1970s
- The black circular brushed dial features contrasting rose gold plated hands and indexes, and red accents on the hands add a touch of colour
- On the flip side, a sapphire case back displays the Calibre Heuer 02 movement, which boasts an 80-hour power reserve
- The watch is paired to a factory leather strap and titanium folding clasp
