SUMMARY
Tudor has become known as the playground for sister company Rolex to launch new materials and take a look over its shoulder at models of the past. When enthusiasts cried for a more wearable GMT, Tudor rose to the occasion in 2022, giving us the Black Bay Pro. A 39mm stainless-steel GMT with a striking resemblance to the Rolex 1655 Explorer II of yesteryear.
The classic Snowflake hands we love from Tudor make a comeback and combined with the lack of crown guards or a cyclops, this is truly a vintage-inspired piece. The ceramic monobloc hour markers make for easy legibility and combined with the robustness collectors have come to expect from Tudor, the Black Bay Pro is truly a time-honoured piece.
