SUMMARY
Launched in 2018, ref. 126711CHNR is significant in the GMT-Master II lineage as it was the first to incorporate 18K rose gold alongside its precious metal counterparts. Affectionately known as the 'Root Beer' in Rolex circles and by collectors, it draws on vintage GMT-Masters of yore thanks to its brown and gold design elements. One of the latest iterations of Rolex's iconic travel companion, the case measures 40mm in diameter and features large squared-off lugs to reflect more contemporary tastes. Another distinguishing feature of this GMT-Master II is its bi-colour bezel, which is seen here in brown and black to perfectly complement the warm tones provided by the rose gold.
