SUMMARY

Crafted from 18K yellow gold, this 2021 Rolex Daytona is an aesthetically contrasting configuration of The Crown’s iconic motorsport watch, whose lineage can be traced back to the early 1960s. Measuring 40mm in diameter, the Daytona’s already-purposeful design is enhanced by its gold dial and contrasting black ‘Oysterflex’ strap, which is fitted with Rolex’s patented ‘Easylink’ clasp. Turn the watch over, and beneath the screw-down rear casing beats Rolex’s automatic 4130 calibre, which was introduced by the brand back in 2000. This chronometer-certified movement was developed entirely in-house by Rolex, and has an impressive power reserve of 72 hours.
