ABOUT THIS WATCH
- The Rolex Day-Date stands as one of the Crown’s most iconic models, and since its introduction in 1956, it has become synonymous with luxury and prestige the world over
- Featuring a 36mm case, this version of the Day-Date echoes the dimensions of vintage examples, but with a contemporary look and feel
- Constructed from 18K white gold, its amplified by a bezel set with 52 brilliant-cut diamonds
- Adding a an extra point of difference to this example is the blue ombré dial that fades from a vivid blue at centre to a dark shade towards the perimeter
- Additional diamonds are incorporated here too, with baguette and round brilliant-cut stones used to mark the hours
- Beating inside is the calibre 3255, an automatic mechanical movement that is chronometer-certified and tested after casing to +2 to -2 seconds per day
- Finally, the watch is paired with the lauded ‘President’ bracelet
