Sell it with usOffered by a private collector, this Porsche Design Chronograph 911 GT3 is accompanied by its display box housing an exclusive metal plaque, warranty card and COSC chronometer certification papers. The vendor advises the watch is in brand new, unworn condition with a factory plastic protective covering. Its condition appears within the bounds of their ‘AAA’ grading.
Like the famous namesake motorcar, The Chronograph 911 GT3 is constructed from modern lightweight materials. It can also be highly customised with a range of different build options. This particular example has been specified with a lightweight brushed titanium case with yellow accents on the minutes track and chronograph hands. The watch’s underside is equipped with a sapphire case back displaying the calibre WERK 01.200 movement. Based on the venerable Valjoux 7750, it has flyback functionality and a 48-hour power reserve. Fans of the GT3 car will immediately notice that the winding rotor is based on the car’s wheel design. The references to the iconic motorcar go beyond the case, with the strap made from genuine Porsche vehicle leather.
Porsche Design was founded by Professor Ferdinand Porsche, the mind behind the 911, and offers a range of design-led and technical products, including this chronometer-certified timepiece.
